タワレコでグレゴリー・ポーターを見ていたら

見慣れぬ白いジャケのCDがあり中身のチェックはせずに購入

出だしはグレゴリー・ポーターのモーニングから始まり

聴いていたら、違う人の声が？

よく見てみたら、ボーカリスト三人の名義のセッション・アルバム

「Gregory Porter」「Mansur Scott」「Donald Smith」

の三人のボーカリストの競演

中身はジャズ＆ソウルで、

グレゴリー・ポーターは主としてジャズ系スタンダード

他の二人はジャズしていてもソウル、ファンク色強く

ギル・スコットヘロン的な曲もあったりします

やはりグレゴリー・ポーターが歌うことで、

このアルバムはグッと引き締まっていることを感じます

楽器演奏は「Paul Zauner's Blue Brass」

聞きなれないバンドですが、適度にジャジーで

かっちりし過ぎていないくて、ジャム的なサウンドに魅力があります
