最初に買った「Liquid Spirit」に惚れ込み

直ぐに買った２枚目のアルバムです

このアルバムは２枚組で２枚目は

デビューアルバムの「Water」のＥＰとなっていて

1960 What?の様々なリミックスが4曲入ってます

1960 What?は、デトロイトの暴動を歌ったプロテスト・ソングで

アルバム「Water」の中でも重要なメッセージ

グレゴリーポーターの中域の張りのある声は

力強さ、柔らかさ、説得力があり

ジャズ、ソウルなどの垣根なく腹からズンと来ます

ビリーホリデイの「God Bless the Child」の

アカペラ独唱は大きなスピーカーで聴くとかなり浸みます

よく行く音楽好きが集まる店があるんですが

最近のネタは皆さん仕入れていないので

何気なく持って行って皆さん絶賛「誰これ？良いね」

そうでしょう。お勧めの一枚です（Liquid Spiritも）
